The objectives of the Punjab Educational Web Portal is to make available the information related to higher education in Punjab at one place to empower the community for planning, management, resource mobilization and utilization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the education system. Through the improved service the promotion of academic activities and necessary guidance is envisaged.

A PC-I has been submitted to the Higher Education Commission for approval and release of funds. Work shall commence thereafter. Brief accounts of various features in the proposed Web Portal are listed below:

In the first phase of the project Punjab educational institutions will be connected with each other and with research organization and industries. . Further it shall configure PERN (Pakistan Educational Research Network) to facilitate collaboration & resource sharing.
